3350COV.Judaica. Red Cross card informing the wife of a prominent member of the temporary communist government in Chelm 1946 that her husband had left and cut all communication. He was, however, member of a Polish delegation sent to Moscow for negotiations with Stalin. This was a trap, all were arrested and sentenced by military tribunal, her husband was sentenced to death.300

Margins vary, no.4 with a small corner repair/nevertheless beautiful. Luis 1867-79 average/some faults, 1895 only to 100R, Ceres lacking some rare ones, 1925 compl., blocks from no.2 onwards ** compl. a couple of early ones with some gum crackeling and some sticking to the backing paper.10000
